So as promised I was working with some Dollar stamps I've been collecting. The spooky cat is from Studio G and the words backgroubd is Stampendous' Autumn Words.  The purple paper started off as regular white carstock and I went in and blended ink directly to the paper.  The words are heat embossed with a sort of sparkly orange, red and yellow embossing powder. And I green stickled the cat's eyes

Next is a spiderweb stamp from Imaginisce from a few years ago.  And the Spooky is inkadinkdo.  Both bought for a dollar.   I used a spider web embossing folder from hobby lobby their own brand Paper Studios.  I will say I'll probably still purchase Stampin Up's version.  The Paper Studio ones are not straight.  They can be kind of bowed and then it warps the paper too.

I realize this is a pretty simple card.  I really wanted to spruce it up a bit but I seem to have packed my Halloween ribbon away and now I can't find it.   In one version I tried adding glow n the dark paint to the Pumpkins and the ghost and skeleton but the paper just sucked it up and it didn't really glow at all.  Theese are Inkadinkdo clear stamps, found them at Michael's.

Well that's it for today.

  1. I love the orange/red glittery embossed background on your first card. I have this Stampendous background but have always stamped it in black. It looks completely different, very cool! The sparkly cat's eyes are cool too! Love your polka dotted ghost on card 3.

  5. Some more great cards! I'm thinking if one tried clear embossing powder first over the areas you want to add glow paint that might keep it from soaking in. Just a thought. :) Happy stamping!
